The Reward System
When you first start playing Redline Racer not all of the game's feature are available. It requires skill to see all of what's in Redline Racer.

On initially entering the track screen, some of the tracks will appear with 'Not Available' above them. In order to be able to play these tracks you must perform well on the previous tracks. Once you have achieved enough skill at the available tracks the new tracks will become playable.

Your skill setting is saved on disk as you finish each game. A skill level is associated with the player name which is entered at the start of the game. If you wish to start playing the game from scratch again you can enter a different player name at the start of the game or through the configure options.

When playing a network game, the tracks available will only be the tracks available on the server machine. The server machine is the machine which created the game. On each of the other players' machines, only the riders and bikes which are available for that player will be selectable.

Internet

Red Line Racer is designed as an Internet friendly game. The game can be expanded in many ways by downloading files from the internet. You can add extra bikes, riders and tracks to the game by downloading the appropriate files.

It is also possible for your own tracks and bikes and teams to be added to the game. You will need an appropriate 3d modelling package and 2d art package to create the texture maps. Details of how to do this can be found on our web site.

Please access the Redline Racer web site for more details.
